New for 2013!

The new look Festival Village will include the Catering Marquee with an exciting new marketplace, entertainment and catering area. Indoors and under one roof, local traders specialising in beautiful, hand crafted goods will be showcasing their items, to include ceramics, china,  jewellery, wooden gifts, artwork, stained glass, ethical giftware, fashion and interior accessories, leatherwork,  raffia bags, metalwork,  chutneys and preserves.

Refreshments to tantalise the taste-buds food will be available all day. Hot and cold dishes include Moussaka, fish pie, spit roast chicken and Cornish cheese platter alongside a tempting range of fresh salads and sandwiches. Not forgetting delicious cakes and quintessential tea (or coffee!). To complement the food there will be a bar serving local beers, lagers and wines as well as soft drinks and separate Pimms Bar.

Free entertainment will be available for your enjoyment between acts in the Festival Marquee. Local artistes will enchant and enthral with their unique style of music with vocals and instrumentals, classical and baroque guitar, jazz, folk and blues; Saskia, Cahooty and Ben Jordan are just some of the acts appearing.  What a fantastic opportunity to listen to such amazing music at one festival.

Take time to spend a while at this amazing venue with breathtaking views across the river Fowey. Take in a few shows, relax with a glass of wine or beer or perhaps a Pimms on the terrace. Enjoy a leisurely lunch, afternoon tea or pre-theatre supper. Browse the stalls and bookshop, have a go at the Grand Draw; lovely prizes to be won. Come along and meet like-minded people, soak up the atmosphere, escape and enjoy……….
